Dragonair is part of Cathay Pacific
Since Dragonair is part of Cathay Pacific and Cathay Pacific is member of oneworld, I can redeem the award tickets by using American AAdvantage or British Airways Avios.
The flight time between Hong Kong to Kaohsiung is a little over one hour. Usually I will save the miles for long haul flight and will not waste the miles for short haul flight. Since it is not a lot more by using British Airways Avios, we decide to travel in style. I used 4500 British Airways Avios to redeem an one-way economy award ticket from Hong Kong to Kaohsiung (because business award ticket was not available on the flight that I preferred) and 9000 British Airways Avios to redeem an one-way business award ticket from Kaohsiung to Hong Kong, which is far less miles required than Asia Miles and American AAdvantage.

British Airways requires 4,500 Avios for one-way

My Flight Experience with Dragonair
This is the second time that we were flying with Dragonair from Taiwan to Hong Kong. I were impressed that they served FREE full meal on both economy class and business class for an hour flight. After the meal, we arrived our destination and made the trip go so smooth.
