From October 23, 2016 Non-Stop Flights to San Francisco by Singapore Airlines

People always asked how come Singapore Airlines does not fly non-stop to Singapore.  Now their dream come true.  From October 23, 2016, Singapore Airlines will start daily non-stop flights between Singapore and San Francisco on the world’s newest aircraft, the A350.

The flight is operated by a standard configuration A350, featuring 253 seats, includes 42 business class, 24 premium economy, and 187 economy seats.  This plane does not feature a first class cabin!

SQ 32 – Depart Singapore 8:30a.m. and arrive San Francisco at 9:15 a.m. same day, total travel time is 15 hours 45 minutes.

SQ 31 – Depart San Francisco 10:45a.m. and arrive Singapore at 6:40p.m. next day, total travel time is 16 hours 55 minutes.

Double Daily Frequency to Los Angeles

Singapore Airlines also adds a second daily flight from Singapore to Los Angeles, via Seoul (Inchoen, ICN).  This is in addition to the existing daily service to Los Angeles via Tokyo (Narita, NRT).

Flight schedules will take effect on October 23, 2016 as well and will be subject to seasonal changes.

Los Angeles to Tokyo Narita was operated by Airbus 380 and will be operated by a Boeing 777-300ER, and its first class cabin is being reduced from eight seats to four seats.

If you are interested in Airbus A380, the only US route is New York to Frankfurt.
